Quinta dos Sabores, an organic vegetable farm, offers an exquisite farm-to-table dining experience and cozy vacation apartments. Immerse yourself in peaceful surroundings, savor seasonal dishes made from freshly harvested ingredients, and enjoy the charm of nature at this unique countryside retreat.
Quinta dos Sabores is a life project and a dream shared by Inês and Paulo. This journey began in 2002 with the simple restoration of the house on the property, which remains the family home to this day.
The three-hectare property was once a farm dedicated to the cultivation and export of oranges, and later also produced passion fruit.

Currently, the owners have dedicated the land to organic vegetable farming. With this change came a new structure that allows for the offering of specialized services such as the sale of vegetable baskets, jams, and chutneys, among other products, all derived from the farm.

In 2014, Quinta dos Sabores opened a farm-to-table restaurant, where guests can savor the farm's products combined with high-quality ingredients in a cozy and intimate atmosphere.

A few years later, in 2017, Quinta dos Sabores made available two apartments, Sky House and Garden House, allowing guests to share the project created by the owners and enjoy the beauty and tranquility of nature at Quinta dos Sabores.

"This is a unique experience. You are on an island in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean and drive to a really pleasant seemingly residential-type area and then enter what really feels like someone's home - and it is actually on the same property as their home and farm. Authentic decor and very relaxed. Proprietor is very warm and gracious - a fine hostess. The multi-course meal is without fault. In particular, the pork chop was delicious but really it was all very good. Lots of love in the food. My partner loved his wine choices - it comes from the owner's family's vineyards in Portugal. Service was doting and unobtrusive. It is just overall a special place and a special experience. If you are going to Sao Miguel you have no excuse not to make a reservation and visit this place. I'm remembering it very fondly. Hope to return one day."

"This beautiful stay will hold a special place in my heart! We were greeted by the wonderful Alexandre, who has so much knowledge about the farm and kindly showed us around. He was the perfect host, with just the right level of attentive, also allowing us to get on with it ourselves. We were lucky enough to stay in the first floor apartment which has a wonderful view all the way to the sea, basic cooking facilities, an extremely comfortable large bed (my partner is 6 foot 7 so beds are normally too small, but this was perfect!), a chilling area and plenty of storage for clothes etc. It truly felt like home for the 5 days we were there and we didn't want to leave by the end. We also ate in the restaurant one of the nights, which was the best meal we had in all of our stay. Thank you so, so much for having us."
